Glenn Smith is the Founder and President of NCI. A veteran church planter, trainer, and coach with extensive pastoral leadership experience, Glenn is a leading church multiplication strategist. He has been a guest lecturer and teacher on church planting for several seminaries and Bible colleges. Glenn also owns The Growth Coach, a company devoted to coaching small business owners and self-employed professionals. Glenn attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also holds an M.A. in Global Leadership from the Fuller Theological School of Inter-Cultural Studies. Glenn and his wife Terri have three grown daughters and one granddaughter. In his “spare” time, he enjoys flying airplanes and would like to hang out at the lake. |

Roy McClung is our consultant for simple/house church. He has been a pastor, church planter, and church planting consultant for the past 14 years. He currently provides leadership to a network of simple churches in Houston as well as training and coaching simple church leaders and missionaries across Texas and Nevada. Roy is also currently serving as a missionary in the greater Houston area, living out Luke 10 and starting simple churches among the unreached, hidden, and neglected people groups. |

Ken Shuman is our Missional Church consultant. Ken brings 28 years of pastoral and church planting experience to our team. Ken was one of the co-founders of LeadersEdge, a leadership development process for ministry leaders. He also served on the team that began Mission Houston. Ken holds a D.Min. degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Currently Ken is leading an emerging missional faith community in Tomball, Texas called Wellspring. Ken and his wife Becky have two grown daughters. Ken loves to play golf and travel. He and Becky are also Texas A&M football season ticket holders. |

Phil Spry is a national trainer with NCI. He leads Tellstart, an organization designed to help church planters find and attract unchurched people in a specific geographic area of a city. Phil is a veteran church planter himself having planted 6 churches. Phil uses several different methods to gether unchurched people. Through Tellstart he uses a state of the art calling system that is effective at finding and gathering people for a new church start. Phil and his wife live in Raliegh, NC. Hal Haller is a catalytic church planter having planted 3 churches himself and having sent out many more from his churches. Hal is a national consultant and coach who provides A-Z guidance for church planters that desire to launch large, have high impact, and plant reproducing churches. In addition to providing training and coaching, Hal provides planters with a comprehensive package of the resources needed on a budget that any church planter can afford. Hal works with planters to take their church plant from the conception phase to 3 months post launch.

Bob Carlton is our Tennessee/Kentucky Regional Consultant. Bob has been church planting for over 9 years. Prior to becoming a church planter Bob served as a worship leader and started the college ministry "Encounter" at Willow Creek Community Church. He and two other pastors (John Burke and Ted Beasley) from Willow moved to Austin, TX to plant Gateway Community Church, a dynamic church known for the phrase "no perfect people allowed." Bob later went on to help develop and lead the Emerging Church Network which has planted over 300 churches. Bob is also an accomplished musician, having won a Dove Award for Hard Music Album of the Year while playing with the band Massivivid. Bob and his wife Kristina live near Nashville where he is church planting as well as providing consulting services through NCI. |

Wally Goodman is our Austin/San Antonio Area Regional Consultant.. Wally brings over 30 years of experience as a pastor, church planter, and college minister An avid learner graduating from Louisiana Tech University (B.A.), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.) and Baylor University (Ph.D.), Wally is currently studying Bowen Family Systems Theory and its impact on clergy leadership, particularly church planters. He has also taught numerous Bible and church planting courses at several Christian universities. In his spare time he enjoys being with his family and quail hunting with his Llewellin setters. Wally is also planting a church in the Austin area. |

Tom Basile is Mexico based and serves as our Puebla Area Director. He and his family live in Puebla, Mexico, where they have been planting churches for over 14 years. Completely fluent in both English and Spanish, Tom facilitates our work in Latin America, including our ministry to reciprocal exchange students in Mexico. Tom is a highly competent trainer, assessor, and coach, as well as an excellent pen maker!

Paul Lambert is Mexico based and serves as our Querétaro Area Director. He and his family have lived in Querétaro, Mexico for over 7 years. Paul is completely fluent in both English and Spanish, and he has been on the mission field since 1994. He is also the director of the Regional Bajio Leadership Training Center, in North Central Mexico. In his spare time, he likes to play the trumpet, golf, and cook a mean pot of red beans and rice. |
Our U.S. based Spanish language team of trainers and assessors is the best! Jorge Cardenas is the founding pastor of Iglesia La Roca Katy. He holds an M.A. in Counseling and leads our marital interviews. Moises Flores pastors Del Redentor, a church planting church in Houston, TX. He leads our Spanish track assessment and provides The Essentials training in Spanish. Magdalena Bonilla is the wife of a church planter and is a gifted leader herself. She is a highly experienced assessor and administrates our Spanish track assessment. Jesus Gillen is a veteran pastor, church planter, and coach. Jesus is also an experienced assessor and provides The Essentials training in Spanish. |

In addition to our staff, NCI has an inter-denominational team of over 30 church planting leaders in Houston and around the world who assist part-time with leadership development, training, assessment, and coaching.
